![]() ![]() I would definitely recommend the tour and checking this space out. RiverWorks is downtown Buffalo, NYs premier waterfront, boating, sports bar, adventure, sports, music & entertainment venue. After the tour we had a few drinks at the bar that just opened on the premises - cool and welcoming place with a lot of reclaimed materials used in its construction. Family event with kids fishing in the morning, environmental displays, live animals, food trucks, Silo City and USS Columbia tours and a visit from the E.M. Join us for a beautiful afternoon filled with some of Buffalos most creative artisans and. Also some great opportunities for pictures of the lakefront and the Old First Ward. Join us Sunday June 25th from 11am-3pm at Duende at Silo City. Tour took about 2.5 hours but it didn't seem that long as there was so much to see and discuss. The tour itself was great - started on the ground to give an appreciation of the scope of the Silos and then proceeded up to the top of two different Silos and learned how the grain used to move through these structures and what the workers used to experience when they were in operation. Silo City Reading Series events take place in Marine A, behind Duende at Silo City, 85 Silo City Row. ![]() Larry provided a great account of the history of the silos and how the current owner is using the space as a cultural center for everyone to come, appreciate, and enjoy. We went on a vertical tour of Silo City with our docent Larry from Explore Buffalo this past weekend. Silo City is truly one of the most unique, full-of-potential spots in the city. ![]()
